Mark Williams Jr., Mustangs Third baseman instantly reacted charging in to cleanly field and smoothly fired it to 1B for the 3rd out, ending the close inning and keeping the game tied 2 to 2 Williams, had the same exact play in the same week against Riverdale Baptist causing the out🔥 #PBFG25

🔥Statement Game: Mark Williams Jr. stepped on the mound and opened for SMCA Varsity against Chopticon High School and set the tone early.
The starting Pitcher gave up 3 hits and four runs (two earned) over 6.5 innings, striking out 9 and walking three – sitting at 88–90 mph 💨 Williams tied the game at 5 on a blasted single with 2 RBIs at the bottom of the 7th inning.

At 6’4”/210 lbs, Mark is one of the top uncommitted players for the class of 2027. He is very disciplined & powerful at the plate utilizing a short swing that keeps the barrel through the zone. With an impressive EV of 105 mph, he’s definitely a player to keep an eye on as we look forward to the 2027 MLB Draft!
