Apparently there’s no worse fate at Xbox than becoming an award winning studio.
It’s ridiculous that such success can still be met with a kick out the door.
Xbox is reportedly planning to shutdown Compulsion Games (South of Midnight).
Back in April chief layoff officer Matt Booty praised the studio for winning a Peabody Award.

recently a lab technician at Cornell didn’t want to pay for parking so she walked through a cemetery to get to work.
one day she noticed bees everywhere. brought a jar of them to her boss. turns out there are 5.5 MILLION bees living underground beneath that cemetery. one of the largest aggregations ever recorded. more than 200 honeybee hives worth. three times the population of Manhattan.
they’ve been there since at least 1935. possibly over 100 years.
one of the most insane discoveries in pollinator biology happened because a grad student didn’t want to pay for parking
