So many people in the world are willing to believe in Bigfoot, ghosts, or supernatural creatures of some kind. Many want to believe we evolved from some microscopic organism, or were created by a race of advanced Aliens from another planet. A few are even willing to believe in gods or god like beings or some mystical unknowable higher power, but either by choice or simple ignorance have no clue who that god or higher power is, or what to call it. Very few want to even consider the possibility of a single Holy God who created them and all of creation. A God who loves them and desires a personal relationship with them. The idea that the same Holy God gave up His only begotten Son to die a bloody, torturous and humiliating death to pay a sin debt we all owe, then to be raised from the dead all in an effort to save mankind from the very eternal hell they see as a myth, or a legend. But, tell them a space ship just landed and Elvis stepped out. Suddenly they are lining up to hear about that. They would rather hear how their favorite political figure is going to make their lives better, or hear the latest gossip about their favorite actress or actor. Than hear how much God loves them, and how much God has already done and willing to do if they simply believe in His Son. They can believe in evil, and that evil people deserve a fiery hell, they can even believe in judgment for those evil people or believe in demons or evil spirits. But tell them that they are on their way to hell simply because they were born with a sin nature and their only hope is the one and only God they refuse to believe in. At best they say no thanks and turn away or at worse they spit in your face and curse you. This is the average state of mankind. Willing to believe anything and everything, except the truth. Truth is not subjective. You do not have your own personal truth. There is only the truth of Gods Word. Or the lies and deception of Satan, no middle ground. This is not debatable, this is not up for argument. This is reality. You accept it all or reject it all. You believe the truth or you believe a lie. I strongly encourage you to believe the truth.
