Can anyone in SF explain why our most bike friendly part of town (Golden Gate Park) is a "No Parking Zone" for @baywheels ? And that there are a total of just 10 docks in its ~1.75 sq mi!!!??? This is bananas.
Today's my last day at @codeforamerica after 6.5 years.
It's been an emotional day, as I reflected back on all the connections I've built and the work I've done. Working with the #cfabrigade network was a joy, as was all the product work I was able to do.
I look forward to when I can wholeheartedly say that @codeforamerica has the best working conditions of anywhere in civic tech.
Please help us convince CfA that providing strong labor protections will make it a great place to do good work.
Companies that espouse the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion are increasingly fighting unionization at their workplaces. @codeforamerica is no different.

While we still have a lot of ground to cover in negotiations (including on a lot of economic issues), we eagerly await to see the discussions we'll hold at the bargaining table this Thursday!
My contribution to SF rain Twitter: I just put the bucket back underneath our roof leak that's been there since we moved in. Kind of amazing how unnecessary it has been to get that fixed.
Not sure which is more epic:
- Stranger Things' synth remixes of 80's
- Westworld's piano/symphonic adaptations of all decades
Both dark, both delightful, yet so different
Theory: Twitter will be a tax write-off for Musk so he can sell more $TSLA. Gotta cancel out those capital gains somehow... what better way than to buy a struggling social media company?
With rising interest rates, I imagine it's less desirable to continue funding his lifestyle by borrowing against his shares, so buying Twitter now allows him to cash in those losses later. (Even if he has to borrow now to do so)
