I'm reposting this because there are still too many sources like the BBC that list Marianna Hill as having been married to Bernard Hill. Hill was her mother's maiden name. When I interviewed Marianna, she said she was only married once to an Argentine who died in a car accident.
Ever since news outlets *INCORRECTLY* reported the late actor Bernard Hill was married to Marianna Hill, who I've interviewed, @IMDb still mentions her as his ex-wife. She was only married once to a man from Argentina who died in a car accident. Hill was her mother's maiden name.

This is insecurity/inferiority complex disguised as superiority. Dynasty & FalconCrest fans rarely intrude on a Dallas thread like this. And the funniest part? The claim undermines itself: If Dallas hadn’t exploded in popularity, Knots wouldn’t even exist for them to brag about.
The producers of Dallas originally pitched Knots Landing to CBS. CBS turns them down. So they came back with Dallas. CBS agreed to broadcast Dallas. Dallas was so popular after the first year that CBS agreed to broadcast Knots Landing. Knots Landing was a much better show.
My two favorite actresses of the 1960s: the stunning #CarolLynley and the sultry #PamelaTiffin. I wrote career retrospective books about both of them. ,
It is here. Carol Hollenbeck’s brutally honest article about her time in Hollywood dealing with lecherous men and the casting couch titled “The Dark Roots of a Hollywood Blonde” (with help from me) in what looks like to be the last issue of Films of the Golden Age.
It is The Man from UNCLE movie marathon on @tcm today! These films are chock full of some of my favorite 1960s actresses including #YvonneCraig & #CarolLynley Read about them all in Louis Paul & my book Film Fatales: Women in Espionage Films and Television, 1962-1973
