There are fascinating insights into the real cost of radiotherapy in the HERO report, published today. As an effective cure for many cancers, it is CHEAP! Huge thanks to contributors, especially @katiespencer72 and @Noemiedef1
The Radiotherapy Board also published the ESTRO-HERO report, which estimates the cost of radiotherapy to the NHS for the first time.
The report shows how radiotherapy benefits tens of thousands of patients each year at a relatively modest expense 👇
