As we begin the new school year remember: clean slates for all students, read accommodations for SWD, build relationships, reach out if you need ANYTHING, communicate with parents and students and lastly, remember: this moment matters.
Reaching the “hard to reach” students is not about having the right strategy… it’s about having the right heart. It’s a passion for connecting with kids.
When faced with adversity, some will always find a problem. On the other hand, when dealt the same problem, others will rise above and find possibilities.
We shouldn’t airbrush our lives to make them look perfect. Flaws are real, they make us relatable and allows grace to do the healing instead of covering up with pretend perfection.
Trust is a verb; show it. Love is a verb; love out loud. Faith is a verb; exercise it. Prayer is a verb; hit your knees. Hope is a verb; be encouraged. Forgiveness is a verb; humbly ask Him. In other words, get moving!
