Fully convinced of my preparedness to make deeper and uncommon impacts across all communities in Aguata, I am delighted to share my commitment to provide examplery representation for the greater good of our people. Tomorrow, in the presence of the members of my Party, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), I will declare my intentions to represent the good people of Aguata Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives. Among others, my aspiration is anchored on my readiness to provide massive opportunities for our people, drive educational growth, improve healthcare provision, attract mind-blowing public infrastructure, and generally place Aguata federal constituency on a pedestal to be emulated. My blueprint - a product of experience and firm understanding of all the challenges and prospects in Aguata - will provide a clearer view of my strong confidence in my candidacy. I consider it a huge honour to serve and I am ready exert my energy, passion and skills, for the upliftment of ndị Aguata. As the Psalmist declared: “May the words of my mouth and the meditations of our hearts, be pleasing in your sight, O Lord…” (Psalm 19:14), I hold unto God to direct. As I consistently affirm: “For us in Aguata, Impossibility is Nothing", I trust in my ability to never disappoint my people. Aguata, Our Morning is Here!

Perhaps Nigeria is a very terrible country in ways we fail to understand. You cannot celebrate to leave your home country in this manner.

Artemis II has reached its maximum distance from Earth. On the far side of the Moon, 252,756 miles away, Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy have now traveled farther from Earth than any humans in history and now begin their journey home. Before they left, they said they hoped this mission would be forgotten, but it will be remembered as the moment people started to believe that America can once again do the near-impossible and change the world. Congratulations to this incredible crew and the entire NASA team, our international and commercial partners, but this mission isn’t over until they’re under safe parachutes, splashing down into the Pacific.

Overnight, on President Trump’s orders, the Department of War commenced OPERATION EPIC FURY — the most lethal, most complex, and most-precision aerial operation in history. The Iranian regime had their chance, yet refused to make a deal — and now they are suffering the consequences. For almost fifty years, Iran has targeted and killed Americans, always seeking the world’s most powerful weapons to further their radical cause. Last night, unlike any previous president, President Trump began dealing with this cancer. We will not tolerate powerful missiles targeting the American people. Those missiles will be destroyed, along with Iran’s missile production. The Iranian navy will be destroyed. And, as President Trump has said his entire life, Iran will never have a nuclear weapon. The United States did not start this conflict, but we will finish it. If you kill or threaten Americans anywhere in the world — as Iran has — then we will hunt you down, and we will kill you. Our warriors are the best in the world, and they are fully unleashed to achieve our objectives. May God’s providence protect them in this vital mission.

I had a fruitful interaction with Imo State ADC Stakeholders based in the UK. We discussed strategies to strengthen the party's presence across Imo State, and I'm thrilled with the outcome.

Let me add this: there is no other historical iron smelting site that is as old AND as large scale as this site. Anywhere in the world. There a few sites that are potentially older but at very small scale. And very few that are larger but much much later in time. Lejja is not only one of the oldest smelting sites of this scale anywhere in the world, its history of iron smithing predates several older world civilizations. Igbo people are ancient, and technically competent. Secondly, Africans by extension are just as capable technically as other races. The reason we got to iron earlier than other civilizations is that tin was scarce in our area which made bronze difficult. So as a region we did brass and then iron. That tells you that our environment drove our technical innovation. If we had not encountered a more advanced civilization when we did, we would've still built our own technology.
Lejja, Nsukka, in present-day Enugu State, is the location of a prehistoric archaeological site that contains iron-smelting furnaces and slag dating back to 2000 BC. The village square at Otobo Ugwu, believed to be the earliest village square in Lejja—contains over 800 blocks of slag, with an average weight between 34 and 57 kg. With this discovery, one can rightly say that the Igbo people were among the early contributors to world civilisation. Iron smelting is the process of applying heat and a chemical reducing agent to an ore in order to extract a base metal. It is a form of extractive metallurgy used to obtain metals such as iron, copper, silver, tin, lead, and zinc. Smelting works by using heat and a chemical reducing agent to decompose the ore, driving off other elements as gases or slag and leaving the metal behind. Electricity is proxy for industrial might. It is the foundation of the economy.
I cannot stress enough how important electricity is. For the most critical industries, there is NO alternative.

It is clear that the government in power has no political will to curb the incessant killings and terrorist attacks plaguing our country today. The government has failed to provide adequate protection for its citizens, as evidenced by the surge in terrorist attacks and mass kidnappings in some parts of the country – challenging our national security. This failure to act decisively has sadly emboldened terrorists and eroded public trust. The incessant attacks on innocent citizens in Plateau; the reported attack and kidnapping of secondary schoolgirls in Kebbi; an ambush on soldiers in Borno resulting in the abduction and killing of a Brigadier General, M. Uba; the attack on a church in Kwara; and the kidnapping of a priest, Rev. Fr. Bobbo Paschal, in Kaduna – all within a week – are too much to be ignored. The Federal Government needs to step up its game, sharpen its response to terrorist activities, strengthen military intelligence and tactical operations, and live up to the expectations of its people. To Mr. President: your primary assignment is the security of lives and property. Enough of looking the other way or issuing watery statements of condemnation. Prioritizing a summit or jetting out for whatever reason when Nigerians are dying can never be the trait of a good leader. It is time to probe wrong decisions, strategize, and make tough calls. The current situation calls for decisive leadership, stronger intelligence coordination, and accountability. We did it in Rivers State; it can be done in the country. We are prepared to help if you request help. Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi

APC Bingos are crying that Nigerians don’t pay tax like UK, Canada & US but want their services. 😂 Meanwhile, this is FIRS Chairman Zacheus Adedeji’s convoy. In The UK, Canada, US, if the tax boss rolled up like this, he’d be forced to resign before dinner. Tinubu’s new tax madness isn’t for hospitals, schools or roads, it’s for Zacheus & co. to ball harder while Nigerians suffer!

📚 If you’re a student choosing what to focus on, pick MATH. It will teach you to relentlessly rely on your own brain, think logically, break down problems, and solve them step by step in the right order. That’s the core skill you’ll need to build companies and manage projects.

In all of this, Obasanjo played the biggest role in Obi’s nomination. Reno merely played the role of onboarding the chosen candidate. He had no power to deny the onboarding process. Heck he had no power to even recommend otherwise. He can make that kind of noise pertaining to Segun Sowumi and co. Not Peter Obi.
