Can confirm. Hate commercials during the match. Just say no to throwball customs.

You can also vary the pause points to vary the difficulty. The closer to the final action, the easier it is to read.
🧵A few couple of video tips for coaches. 1) One of the primary benefits of showing players video is to develop their eyes- that is we want them to see things they might not otherwise have noticed & cause them to use those cues to predict what’s going to happen.

Vocabulary is critical to comprehension
If you can walk into a club, lay out a set of cards with your coaching language on them, and the players can pick them up and explain what each one means 70% of the time, then your language is in a good place. Your terminology should be simple, clear, and understood without you needing to explain it every time. Simple words. Smart football.

100% of UK academy coaches say perceptual-cognitive skills are important for development. 3% say they're "very familiar" with them. 63% have never had a single hour of PCS-specific education. And then people wonder why we don't have more players who are great decision makers. This is a system problem, not a few coaches falling short. (Triggs et al., 10, March 2026. Frontiers in Psychology)

When a player can't read the game, the problem is almost never a missing tactic. It's that they don't understand enough of what they're seeing. Research on reading comprehension applies to football with eerie precision, and it changes how we should develop game intelligence.

La cantera es el alma de un club. donde se aprende a disfrutar de esta pasión, a respetar un escudo y a competir con el corazón. Cuando el primer equipo se nutre de jugadoras formadas en casa, no solo gana en talento, también gana en identidad. 💪🏼🙌🏼👏🏼 @CanteraGranota

Better start studying like Brady
Football is certainly not just for creator players any more. Athletes and a play book. For better or worse, it’s heading this way.

Too many entrenadores. Not enough formadores.
It’s become far too common: youth coaching routinely trades extraordinary potential for mistake-free play. Ego’s appetite for control and short-term wins keeps growing and with it fades the essence that once made the difference, the gift of innovating & shining inside chaos….
