Today's the 1st day of the PhD conference on drug development for AD (PhD4AD) in Heraklion in Crete at FORTH. This conference has been organised by our PhD students in @TCclock4AD
It's been great so far! Organisation and talks are well done! Crete is lovely, never been before!

We successfully hosted the first North East Fly Meeting today! It was great to connect with people from all over as well as the local universities. A great learning and networking opportunity for us all! Sometimes it's just great to talk flies with all fly people! 🙂

Success story ⭐ Why do melanomas occur more frequently in Parkinson's disease patients? Using Eric Reid funding, @TeessideUni researchers have been developing methods to isolate and measure the modifications of alpha-synuclein which may give insights into its pathogenic forms.
