What if the US tax system was completely reset and rebuilt from scratch? I asked ChatGPT to ignore the current tax code and design a system that was simple, fair, and raised roughly the same amount of money. This is what it came up with: • First $40,000 per adult tax-free • 25% flat tax on all income above that • 25% corporate tax • 10% national sales tax, split 50/50 with states • No payroll taxes • No special capital gains rates • Almost no deductions, credits, or loopholes Someone earning $35k pays $0 federal income tax. If Elon Musk realizes $10B in gains, he pays about $2.5B in tax. Federal revenue stays around current levels (~$5T/year), states get a large guaranteed revenue stream, and the entire tax code fits on a postcard. Not my proposal. Just ChatGPT’s answer to a “fresh start” tax system.

I think banning social media below 16 is probably a good step, nobody can argue that it isn't toxic.

Something needs to change with Chargebacks. I know it’s not @stripe at fault but it’s ridiculous that the chargeback can contradict itself on its reasoning and the bank still side with the customer. Had a chargeback on a creation of a subscription, that they then cancelled after using stripes cancellation flow. They charged back the first transaction saying it had been charged again after cancelling. Dispute lost. Ridiculous.

So is the Iran war really over or is this like the 9346 times it's been over? Genuine question.

Wish @Truecaller allowed full blocking more than 5 series of numbers, i could pretty much kill all my spam if there wasn’t a limit on that, or even just a slightly higher limit.

Been a lot of hate for Polsia since the fundraising announcement, I don’t know why everyone is so mad, literally every startup is working towards something bigger and shipping progress along the way. It points to people just being jealous that their 49th attempt at a to-do list app is only at $1 ARR.

I don’t usually complain about the price of things but @SeaWorld in San Diego is absolutely taking the piss, makes Disney feel cheap.

So chatgpt with the prompt "Can you design a fully electric Ferrari, show it in a showroom, launch style" did a better job than Ferrari with...whatever the Luce is supposed to be.

When did society make the switch from being happy for people and excited when they do well, or are happy to...jealousy and wanting their downfall?

Hey @X is this a joke? I call out inappropriate behavior and content in gyms but there is NEVER any nudity and if there is, I cover it up. Millions of views which YOU get paid for and not even a discussion? There was no “thorough” review. Just one email and DONE. Do better X…

This platform is becoming tiresome... There is just so much "Look at what I did, but my course showing you how" and vague rage posts for attention to get monetized. Is anyone actually just building stuff and having fun? If you are, follow me, I wanna see more of you - and less of the other stuff.

Unpopular opinion. @cursor_ai is still the best tool for building anything serious.

Why do people care so much about if people buy $9 drinks from Starbucks? If you don't want to, don't...if you do, do. Simple. Really wish people would stop trying to force people into their way of thinking.
