Officer On Duty Death
It is with profound sadness that we confirm the passing of one of our officers while on duty this morning.
We are in the process of notifying the officer's family and will share further updates in the coming hours.
Preliminary information suggests the cause of death may be medical.
Our heartfelt thoughts are with the officer's loved ones, friends, and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time.
Anyone can be a victim of hate crime; when you report it, you encourage others who may be suffering in silence to come forward. Police can only investigate hate-motivated crimes when they are reported. Report hate-motivated crimes by calling 416-808-2222.

Most hate crimes go unreported because the victims of the crime don't realize that the harassment towards them constitutes a hate crime. If you experience a hate-motivated crime, please report it at 416-808-2222.
