Glad @ConorDaly22 got his suit. Fun fact… This building was home to Frontenac, where the Chevrolet brothers built the 1920 and 1921 Indianapolis 500 winning cars. You can learn that and more in this excellent @DLand91 video.

Anyone know anyone who works at the @tide cleaners on Capitol Ave downtown indy? I forgot to get my suit for the banquet tonight 😅 kinda need to get it somehow and they’re closed today. Help would be much appreciated. Also, hand up, my bad, I know.
So cool to be asked by @TeamChevy to help tell their #IndyCar and #Indy500 story.
A deep dive into a history that dates back to quite literally the beginning of the sport.

Light activity in the garage area on Media day but nice to see Alexander Rossi back with team & car. Also - a color change for Ryan Hunter-Reay, Wurth branding for Mick Schumacher and Pato’s car back and in final prep.

UPDATE: Alexander Rossi is awake and alert, and in good spirits following today's Practice 7 incident at @IMS, per Dr. Julia Vaizer, INDYCAR medical director.
The No. 20 driver is still undergoing evaluation in the infield medical center.
The reigning champ will defend his title from Pole! An exciting day of qualifying saw Alex Palou turn his fortunes from just making the Top 12 to dominating the Fast 6 to earn the Pole. Felix Rosenquist held sway most of the day but fell from P1 to P4 for the second year in a row
Meyer Shank Racing and Felix Rosenquist scorched the field with a 232.599 four lap average, nearly .8mph clear of David Malukus in P2. Eight different teams move on to the round of 12 including all 3 Ganassi cars. Coverage begins at 4 on Fox for the Top 12 & Fast 6!
Blue skies and green flags at IMS this morning as two full days of qualifying are compressed in to one long Sunday! Warmup at 9:30, Qualifying at Noon, Top 12 at 4:30 PM and Firestone Fast 6 at 6:00.
When the chopper takes off, you know what’s coming next…. Qual Day 1 is cancelled. Morning warmup at 9:30 Sunday along with a better forecast! 1st round of Quals at Noon (single runs only - no second attempts) with Top 12 and Fast 6 rounds starting around 4:30. Don’t miss this!
Try as they might, the serious looks couldn’t scare the rain away… Morning warm-up was cancelled. And getting a window for the rain to stop, 2-3 hours of track drying and 3 hours of qualifying is not looking promising. However this is Indy weather so hurry up and wait!
Rinus VeeKay put together a great late run in the extended Fast Friday session. Good for P10 overall but P3 on the No Tow - impressive showing! Felix Rosenquist was fastest on the day (with a little help) at 233.372 stirring up what looked like a big Chevy day to that point.
Green flag for fast Friday and teams wasted no time - Jack Harvey and Pato O’Ward first on track! The day has been extended an hour to 7PM on the heels of the rain delay.
The skies have opened up over the Speedway but this is a fast moving and relatively compact storm. We likely won’t be hot at Noon as planned but shouldn’t be delayed long with this track drying crew. Coverage starts at Noon on FS2.
Happy hour was more anticlimactic hour with, of course, only Alex Palou on track as the gun sounded. A calmer day though as teams sights are on Fast Friday. Pato’s top spot stuck from early but hard to ignore Helio leading an MSR 2/3/4. Sato topped the no tow chart at 223.828

Pato O’Ward has led day 3 since early in the opening hour with a 227.3 lap (3rd best of the week) but it was a methodical series of qual sims by the Penske trio that was probably the most eye opening with all 3 landing no tow speeds between 222.924 - 223.197 to top that chart.
