Arguably one of the most beautiful buildings in Sofia, this cathedral was built in honor of the Russian soldiers who died liberating Bulgaria from the Ottoman Empire. Taking over 30 years to complete and furnished with rare and expensive materials, it is truly magnificent. ⠀
