Caring isn’t just my family's story, it is the story of millions, caring for each other, dealing with tough times, and keeping going with love. Sharing our story hasn't been easy, but it's important. It's time to bring carers' experiences into the light.

A quick anecdote to explain how vital this book is: There was a moment at the Hay Festival when I heard myself (on a panel) making a quip about my first book (on grime) being an attempt to take my existing knowledge of black music and ‘make a little money’.
