"When you're building for businesses, you don't have to guess what they want. You ask them what would make their life a hundred times easier, then build the most beautiful version of that."
I'm starting something new this week.
Most teams selling to government find out about a deal the day the RFP drops.
By then it is a race, and the agency picked its favourite months ago.
The hard part is that the early signs were public the whole time. 👇️
We got the whole team together for our offsite in Toronto last month.
We are taking on a hard problem: mapping public sector spending and making it legible and accessible to the people who need it.
Grateful for this team. Big year ahead and lots to share soon. 🚀
Most counties fight wildfires with helicopters and chemicals.
Boulder County is doing it with goats. And there's a $2B reason why.
We find contracts like this before anyone else @NationgraphNews.
POV: you sell into government.
Most of your day isn't selling. It's tabbing between RFP portals, board minutes, local news, and LinkedIn trying to figure out who owns a budget.
We watched a sales rep cut that to a few minutes per account.

Day 150 at a fast-growing startup 🚀
Probably the craziest 150 days of my career so far.
The biggest thing I've gained is founder and operator empathy.
From the outside, you don't really see how hard it is to try to build a billion dollar company.
Woo's team processes thousands of government records a week so our customers never have to wonder if the data is right.
This week on the team: @h_woopark Head of Data Ops and employee number one.
Woo is one of the people making the public sector legible and accessible for all types of businesses.
Stay tuned as we share more of our team every Thursday!
