Ben 10 #2 was a pretty good issue that really continues this origin story with an okay pace! I loved the body horror stuff with the aliens transforming. The military vs. Max conflict was nice. I'm liking how this universe is different and getting nice nostalgia for how it's samey

There continues to be one problem. The artist cannot draw children. I hate to say it. He can draw adults, monsters, aliens, environments, all of it well. His children do not look good, and it is very distracting, especially since the main characters are kids.

THIS GAME LOOKS SO FUN! I LOVE THE GREEK/ROMAN AESTHETIC AND MUSIC!! I'm probably going with Dietrich on the first playthrough! 😁 I'm really curious how our avatar will interact with the main story too, since we see what looks like one in the official art!
In the capital of the Dagdan Empire, powerful fighters gather to participate in the Heroic Games, where the winner is granted one wish. Which of the four unique heroes will you choose? 👦 Cai 🗡️ Dietrich 👑 Theodora 🎶 Leda #FireEmblem Fortune’s Weave comes exclusively to Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept 17. #NintendoDirect

I LOVE how the Ocarina of Time remake looks. It seems to be a natural evolution of where the style was going after 3D, which is anime realistic shading. Reminds me of his Ultimate render. Anime realistic shading was done great in Twilight Princess. I'm excited!
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will be reborn on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026. #NintendoDirect

Can I be honest? Putting Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Zero Company makes COMPLETE sense, as it's a Clone Wars Era game and Anakin was THE HERO OF THE CLONE WARS. And yet, I can guarantee I'll see fans hating on this because SW fans can't enjoy nice things. SAD!

JSA #20 was, without a doubt, very exciting and very cool. It really seems like all the jumping back and forth between characters and never really choosing a handful of characters to focus on is really paying off. It was difficult along the way, but it was worth it. This issue

was simply amazing. Tons of great art, coloring was great. It was good. The actual story is where this issue grabbed me. The tension is just amazing. The pacing is amazing. The dialogue is amazing. The dynamics between characters feel so natural and real. This is the best issue

of this series so far, no contest. Kid Eternity is more interesting than ever. The Spectre plot is next to nothing the best thing this series has done. BUT WHERE IS THE PROMISED HAWKMAN & HAWKWOMAN & HAWKGIRL PLOTLINE?!?!??

I've tried to overlook it, but every time it's shoved in my face I just can't stand to see Krypto as Supergirl's dog. It just sucks and takes away such a special part of the charm of Krypto from the Superman comics. It's still extremely lame.
First look at the Super-Family all together in the DCU. (Source: @ComicBook)

Batman #10 was enjoyable, but also a bit too corny for my liking. Don't get me wrong, I like a certain amount of corny, but this just leaned a bit too heavily into it for too long. It almost felt like this issue was patting itself on the back. I'm more interested in the actual

story they're telling. I wanna know more about this Vandal Savage story. I wanna see more of the Joker. I like that we're getting Bruce and stories about him and the company. That's all great. But this issue was just setup for a new Bat Signal, the dialogue with all the Batfamily

Justice League Unlimited #19 was honestly a good time. The real dynamics between the "reformed" Villains on a trial as JLU members and the heroes was great. Lex was a standout this issue. Amazing dialogue and interactions. This issue had me seated! Then Brainiac Queen showed up

and, honestly, I'm meh on it. Hopefully it doesn't take away too much from the main plot.

Superman #38 was incredible from start to finish! Williamson and Mora are able to effortlessly stuff SO MUCH STORY into every issue, full of great dialogue, art, plot beats, etc. Prime in this issue continues to be great. The romance is great. The ending is great. Amazing issue!

I'm not trying to be overly negative, but if this was in a movie or show, this would be deemed by many fans to be "notalgia bait" and insanely lambasted by critical fans. I guess I'm asking, what is the line between what's acceptable in a comic VS what's acceptable in a movie?
Cried real tears because Dark Horse comics was just the peak of this shit franchise to me.

Yeah so it seems like The Mandalorian and Grogu did indeed have an IG-11 scene that was cut pretty late. Makes sense.

I watched “Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu”in IMAX. Back in 2019, I had only seen the opening of The “Mandalorian” while examining the LED-shot “virtual production” technology, but this time I had no problem diving in. Action, car chases, close-quarters combat, sword fights, gun battles, death matches, aerial combat, giant monsters, giant mechs. A complete “everything versus everything” showcase. CGI, puppets, special makeup, animatronics, stop motion. Even the behind-the-scenes craftsmanship feels like it has everything packed in. X-Wings, AT-ATs, AT-RTs, speeders, stormtroopers, droids. Nearly every element from across the entire history of the Star Wars saga is in as well. An entertainment spectacle made with craftsmanlike skill by Jon Favreau.
