Fable 5 is awesome but it's basically unusable through a subscription right now, it reaches the 5-hour limit so fast, so I'll keep using Opus 4.8, hopefully they won't remove it soon.

So we basically have 13 days before we start paying the serious $ for it 😅
Today, we're introducing Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5, two configurations of our next major language model. I'd normally highlight the numbers: It's SOTA on nearly all benchmarks. I want to talk about something else, because with Fable 5 out in the world, I think a third era quietly started today. I lead Claude Code & Cowork on the desktop, so I think a lot about how people use AI to get work done. I believe we're about to see a major shift, moving from giving AI tasks to giving it responsibilities.

I just made canagentsuse.com (inspired by caniuse.com). 🤖📁A directory of software services that are (partially) agent-ready: • Does it have MCP, CLI, or API? • Can agents create accounts / provision resources autonomously? • More agent-specific details

- A guy with access to unlimited tokens: The next big -thing is ABC and you will actually need unlimited tokens, please buy more tokens. - Indie devs working on something nobody wants with 0 users and 0 traffic: Ah, that's what I NEED to SUCCEED. I love this place.

We just launched Sites into Codex! Software creation was always about more than writing code. Sites in Codex fundamentally gives the power of end-to-end software creation to every user, no matter their technical fluency. These Sites are fully deployed to a URL, private to workspaces, come with authentication, can have static files, and can store dynamic data in databases. It is in preview for business and enterprise teams and will be rolling out to all workspaces over the next day. Give it a try by typing @ Sites into Codex and ask it to build anything! This project took a massive amount of effort across hundreds of people at OpenAI - proud that we were able to get this out and excited to see what you all build with it!

In design, this will be remembered as the colorless era: cars, buildings, movies, the chroma is being sucked out of everything. But of course the pendulum will eventually swing back, and then colorlessness will seem dated.

Yes, please remove the little horse from this thing!

Is there any data out there on the usage of the WooCommerce checkout block? Are people actually using it? Are there plugins that extend it?

Why do standards created in the 1970s continue to power the modern internet? According to Terry Godier, it’s because they’re “too useful to disappear, too uncool to hype, too federated to acquire, and too awkward to turn cleanly into a platform.” terrygodier.com/the-boring-i…

Contact forms for normies should be as simple as creating one, publishing your site, and never having to deal with them again. For Widgetizer hosting, I’m simply detecting whether a site has a form widget, automatically adding Turnstile, creating an inbox for submissions and emailing them to the site owner. Job done.

Things are changing super fast and people simply carry on with business as usual. Take a few days off fren, you are not thinking straight rn and the signal/noise ratio is like 1:10000. Take it easy, panic and short terms wins won’t get you anywhere.

I would easily bet $320 on "the guy who's in charge" "the owner" = the same person 😅

In Widgetizer you can integrate Google fonts in your themes BUT you can also serve them through @bunnycdn fonts, the drop-in replacement for GDPR compliance.
