Replying to @Caltrain
@Caltrain how often is the station at Tamien hosed down for urine? I was surprised how the odor encompasses almost the entire public space. Downstairs upstairs all along the benches. By contrast, the Palo Alto station smells great

Oh I just noticed Palo Alto has one of these. Any chance to get one of those for Tamien?

People getting fired after posting divisive takes on recent events even when they had that disclaimer "My opinions are my own, not that of my employer." So maybe don't bother?

My remote that has the "find" feature loses its battery charge much faster than a similar model that does not. It makes sense to me, and I'm totally willing to make that trade-off for the find feature. Kind of wish it had a charging cradle

I was going to buy a couple of these but then was unable to find any discounts for new customers that actually worked. Possibly buying four or five at a time might work but don't know if I want any now

When did California DMV car registration renewal become Ticketmaster?

Oh, it looks like if you Google register car in California you get redirected to an unofficial site that charges tons of fees. But if you type in dmv.ca.gov and go there directly, you can pay with no fees at all. California should protect consumers from this

As I was exploring the attic and the crawl space on my house, I found a lot of old pipes and wires and beams that are no longer connected to anything but nobody bothered to remove them. Feels like somebody just commented out the code rather than deleting it.

I never understand why companies make it so difficult to interact with them. @CarlsJr app and rewards sign up silently refuses to make an account on the app or website, and customer support is even more broken, requiring I select a restaurant to even ask a question

(Helpful for thumbnails, podcast covers, etc) I don't know anything about anything. got this up and running in 30 min, then spent another 75 deploying the front and back end separately because ai told me so. now you can try it for free. what is this wizardry @nateliason ?

I'm done with McDonald's for a while. They finally ran out of McRib sandwiches, and the regular burgers now seem to have this lingering aftertaste that lasts for hours. Yecch

I switched to @aboutKP this year and so far they don't answer my calls and the computer claims that I'm not in their system. No matter how many times or different phone numbers I call nothing gets resolved and the hold times are over an hour, half the time it just hangs up on me

I used to hate that McRib only came back for a limited time. I would say "Just have it all the time and raise the price if you have to." There's a location near me that still has it, but at the highest price it has ever been with no discounts. Hmm
