This is tomorrow! Should be a fun chat with Alex about his fascinating and very entertaining romp through a century of Welsh literature. So much to chew over, and all in the care of the truly brilliant @montylitfest. Best cakes on the circuit.
Are you ready to take the Alex Johnson time challenge and discover Wales through its feast of writing? @mikeparkerwales finds out how brave Alex has been 😆
Come and see them discuss a Year of Reading Welshly at Monty Lit Fest on June 13th

North and South Wales are separated by mountainous terrain. This is why Wales naturally looks from west to east. It’s also the reason Wales is not a natural administrative unit. This explains why the Senedd does not work.
Gwynedd is a window to the real Plaid Cymru, if you don't speak Welsh you are a second class citizen They don't want you living or working with them...
Exactly, what we have here is a linguistic oligarchy. Where language is used instead of class or wealth. It’s used as a gatekeeper marginalising non Welsh speakers who may be more competent getting a position. Those who do not speak Cymraeg are viewed as uneducated and systematically blocked from upward social mobility.
This is common in Welsh Medja , local government and the Senedd. Basically it’s jobs for the boys.
The Senedd should be flying an equal number of Union Jacks and Welsh flags. 🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧🏴
We have a pro-unionist majority in the Senedd. The flags outside should reflect that.
This is about ending England’s jurisdiction over Wales, not about expelling English people from Wales. ‘English rule’, ‘England’, not ‘English people’.
I have a hangover but I didn't drink
I feel as if I'm on the brink
Of a great big cliff and there I am
Shouting out to tell my Mam
We made it Bet! We made it Dad!
Believe you me We ain't done bad
And it was you who paved the way
So I could live to see this day!
Keep celebrating💚
Plaid Cymru feasted on Labour’s catastrophic collapse- handed a massive boost by 36 extra MSs as betrayed traditional Labour voters abandoned them.
Now a new force has arrived to rip into Plaid, scrutinising their every move & tearing at their heels like a ruthless Welsh Terrier
I am looking forward to exposing Plaid for what they truly are. 34 of us doing that in every part of Wales that is now represented by @reformparty_uk ..
There will be nowhere for them to hide.
Except for the extreme separatists, people wont vote for them again, once they realise what they have voted for.
PLAID ARE UNRECOGNISABLE
I once voted for Plaid Cymru because they put Wales and Welsh working people first.
Today they put everyone else first and penalise their own people.
Plaid Cymru has abandoned Wales. It is no longer the party I voted for.
Make no mistake. The separatists are already planning their next campaign to rip Wales and Scotland from the United Kingdom.
Rather than working to improve Wales and tackle the serious issues effecting people’s lives, Plaid Cymru are already plotting with other seperatists about holding independence referendum’s.
Be under no illusion, separatists running three of the four UK nations will become a serious constitutional issue over the next couple of parliaments.
