Hi friends. I know this week has been emotional and stressful for a lot of us, and I wanted to take a few days to process the election results before saying anything. Personally, I don’t support Trump, and I believe our country deserves better. But I also think that threatening those who voted for him won’t get us anywhere.
This community is the most caring I’ve ever known. You welcomed me with open arms and have shown me an incredible level of love over the years. It hurts to see so many in pain right now. I’m not here to say we all have to hold hands and move on—that’s not a solution. But I do ask everyone to protect their space and mental health. If someone’s disturbing your peace, remember you have every right to let them go, like a bad habit. And you absolutely have the right to speak up against injustice and be heard. Just don’t let yourself get pulled into the cycle of hate.
As a firm believer in the Power of Positivity, I think it’s more important than ever to focus on those feeling scared, uncertain, or hurt right now, and to stand with them in defending their rights, offering our love and support. We’ve got each other, and together, we can keep pushing forward.
As for myself, I’m committed to keeping my platform a safe space for everyone who respects the fundamental rights of all people. This will remain a place where kindness, and support come first.
Be kind to yourselves, now more than ever. ❤️
