Street sweeping is underway on our Township roads and is expected to continue over the next two weeks. This seasonal maintenance helps remove sand, gravel, and other debris that accumulates on roads over the winter months. Please use caution where sweeping is underway.

This photo was taken while clearing wet wipes from our wastewater equipment. Unlike toilet paper, wet wipes do not break down in the sewer system and can cause costly blockages and repairs. Even wipes labelled "flushable" should be placed in the garbage.

Bridge rehabilitation work is planned for the Pittston Creek Bridge at the junction of Pittston Road East and Hainesville Road. The work is scheduled to begin June 8 and expected to be complete in October. For updates: twpec.ca/Road-Construction
