Today our community mourns the loss of wildlife icon, the Queen of the Tetons, grizzly #399.
In the winter of 2021/2022 we exhibited "While They’re Sleeping: A Story of Bears" with compelling images from wildlife photographer and conservationist Thomas G. Mangelsen.

Please stop throwing antibiotics & antihelminthics at your horses all willy nilly. Things are becoming resistant to the things we have faster than we’re able to find new ones and that’s a big reason why.

Why does your indoor cat need a rabies vaccine? Why do I vaccinate pet goats and pigs for rabies too? Because like kids, they may not show signs they were bitten. And can expose humans as well! Rabies is not worth the risk.
Sadly, a child in Ontario, Canada who woke up with a bat in their room has died of rabies. The child's parents saw no signs of scratches or bites and believed the child did not need rabies prophylaxis. 1/2 cbc.ca/news/canada/hamilton/…

See, I know this can’t be real because that cat would have SHREDDED the tattooist - that’s an insecure hold without any pain control in a cat with honestly sensitive skin. Ain’t no way. Someone would have been bit.
