I had a buddy back in the day who lived in Ashburn. He crushed in gaming because his ping was always 1ms.
No I actually don’t understand why people don’t want to live next to data centres. It’s a big box that pays local tax. It doesn’t make noise or smell. In some cases it supplies its own electricity but that can be dealt with politically via taxation if it doesn’t.
