Holocaust Remembrance Day or Yom HaShoah is commemorated from April 23rd at Sundown, until Sundown of April 24th. With so much hate and discrimination spreading throughout the world, books like the ones I was sent by the incredible organizations @FirstBook and the @HolocaustMuseum provide beacons of hope and information to ensure society NEVER FORGETS the atrocities that took place during the Holocaust.
I hope these book recommendations serve as a reminder that history doesn’t have to repeat itself. By learning and staying informed about our past, we can prevent the cruelest form of repetition. Never Forget and ALWAYS Keep Reading!

Our school’s 3rd & 4th graders loved hearing @tzippymfa share ON THE CORNER OF CHOCOLATE AVENUE during #WorldReadAloudDay & learning about the life of Milton Hershey, how she got the idea for the book & how she used different sources to research his life. #kidlit#schoollibrary
