Last Clinical Skills 1 Practical 2 sessions today with MVB3/GE2 - 2 handed tie, instrument tie, Modified Millers ligature, surgical instrumentation identification, dexterity box, scalpel blade loading & unloading. Suture pads are ready - we begin suturing next week!! ๐

Well done to our stage 3 veterinary nurses working through the @RECOVERCPR Advanced Life Support algorithm yesterday following on from their Basic Life Support last week. They showed strong teamwork, leadership & communication. Very impressive ๐๐

Good morning from the @ucdcsc. Great to see all our students back yesterday. Busy day ahead with final year ICU nurse assessment, then our MVB3/GE2 vets are in starting their clinical skills with some patient & surgeon prep. Plus some suture pads to finish making!! โค๏ธ
