Still, an interesting phenomenon that I have not seen in other countries. I wonder what these statements achieve in practice. Do they foster OS practice uptake? Are they used in onboarding? Are they referred to in discussions between researchers and their supervisors?

I am pleased to share this article on emerging roles and responsibilities of libraries in support of reproducible research. It was great to work with Birgit Schmidt, @LoffredaLucia and @jeroenson, following our previous collaboration through @knowexchange.

The author of this THE post bit.ly/48MujkX who is a library Director advocates for abandoning repositories in favour of commercial solutions, instead of bringing up that the spending on open scholarly infrastructure doesn't account even for 10% of library budgets. Shame.
Also, instutional repositories generally do NOT require users to set up accounts to access!
"Our requirement that people set up accounts before they can use services like EThOS or university repositories..."

In today's bonus episode @RuthWinden and @HallGed talk to @smclusky about her career and her @ResAdjacent podcast, where Sarah calls for the research system to recognise that all research is done by a team and all of that team need to be valued. ➡️player.captivate.fm/episode/…
