Very excited to be on my way to Leeds for our first F2F @AnthonyNolan @UKMarrow conference. Wonderful students from across the UK support our work by recruiting donors, raising funds and awareness. They are an awesome bunch and I can’t wait to see them to say thank you.

Thank you @bbcsoutheast for covering Evie's story and raising awareness of the need for young people from South Asian backgrounds to join the register 🙌💚 Here's hoping we can find Evie — and so many other patients like her — a match. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-ke…

‘It was a relief that my sexuality wasn’t a barrier to joining the register.’ Ruby, who is pansexual, donated her bone marrow to someone in need of a transplant a few years ago. Are you a member of the LGBTQ community? Learn how you can save a life: bit.ly/3vcYddx🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

“Being a Black stem cell donor has allowed me to potentially save the life of another Black person” If you're 16-30, you could save the life of someone with the same ethnicity. One day, you could be #ProudToBe a stem cell donor who cures someone's blood cancer, just like Joice!

For #MarchOfTheMen, Marrow groups recruited an incredible 503 men to the register. We couldn’t have done it without our brilliant volunteers all over the UK! Thank you so much to everyone who gave up your time to sign up potential lifesavers! Without you, there is no cure.

That’s not all- Marrowers also recruited 1008 people to the stem cell register this month altogether! Smashed it 🎉

This is the heartwarming moment when Joanna, a third-year medical student and co-president of Cardiff Marrow, met Dr Alex George. 🥰 A huge fan of Dr Alex, Joanna is in need of 4 months of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant to treat her cancer.

For anyone who is interested in stem cell donation, this is the podcast for you. The first episode is an interesting chat with @andymitchell73 about his donor experience. I’m sure you’ll be inspired to join the Register @AnthonyNolan or @DKMS_uk
This is a new podcast, which we hope will inspire you & one that we hope will ultimately benefit many people by encouraging more to sign up to the #stem #cell register. You could be someone’s #magicalmatch 💛 Would love a RT please, @DirkMaggs

Victoria Botting, congratulations! 🏆 Victoria has actively volunteered for us since 2012 after being diagnosed with leukaemia at just 7 years old. She was a huge part of Cardiff Marrow, and brought in new initiatives like ‘Working from Home Heroes’ 👏 #AnthonyNolanAwards
