Remembering Cordell Jackson, born in Mississippi in 1923. At age 20, she moved to Memphis, where she recorded demos for Sam Phillips. In 1956, she founded Moon Records and began releasing singles she produced and arranged. Here she is performing with the A-Bones on MTV in 1989.
