.@davidsenra says Shopify CEO @tobi told him we're going to look back at 2026 as "the year that every single business in the world was up for grabs." "That AI is coming for everything." "And you're going to look back and realize that this is the year it should have been obvious that you could rebuild the AI-native version of whatever exists out there."

GPUs from 24 months ago are at roughly 100% utilization capacity and old chips are in many cases trading for above their original price due to scarce supply relative to demand. They will have long useful lives even as new chips come out Knowledge work labor spend today is in the trillions of dollars today, and while AI will be cheaper per unit of knowledge work than labor, it will also expand the volume of knowledge work dramatically The entire global economy is going to be rearchitected around AI Given that fact pattern it’s pretty safe to say the IRR on this capital spend in excess of a hyperscaler’s WACC, even given how large the capex is

An outrageous, disgusting display of islamophobia from Sen. Tuberville. The answer to despicable antisemitism is not despicable islamophobia. This type of rhetoric is beneath a United States Senator – or any good citizen for that matter.

politics in America are so funny rn bc the left got dogwalked and they seemingly have no idea why- but instead of just saying ‘we’ll come back to the middle a little bit’ every liberal I know truly believes the solution is to triple down on the mindset that caused it.
This is what it will take to win the Dem nomination in 2028 - nothing short of promising to jail Trump and every appointee will do.

There's a saying - if you can't kill the message, kill the messenger. I struck a nerve. An immigrant kid starting from a basement, public school. 2 blockbuster tech IPOs, best crypto incubator, building in web3 gaming. I earned my place in this world. The harassment I’ve received falls into three predictable buckets: 1⃣“You’re ugly / mid / fat / Asian / smell like rice” — pure misogyny and racialized contempt. 2⃣“She thinks she’s a big shot” — the gender authority gap on display. 3⃣Mocking my dating shitpost — the reality that women still get more attention for our photos than our ideas. None of this is new. But here’s what is: In the United States, abusive behaviors — especially those involving image-based mockery, sexual derogation, and targeted harassment — are not “just the internet.” They are taken seriously and handled accordingly. Every attempt to degrade, misrepresent, or weaponize my identity will be documented and addressed. Ironically, this only proves my point — and strengthens my conviction. If this industry is going to mature, founders, women, immigrants, and outsiders need to keep building anyway. So that’s exactly what I’ll do. We make this space better by refusing to disappear.

Just so we all understand: When someone tells you "Merry Christmas" instead of Happy Holidays, what they really mean is their God is more important than your freedom of religion.
