Excited to announce that our Rx To Play (Prescription to Play) grant has been funded by the @NeilsenFndn! @umadaptive will be partnering with @umichmedicine @AnnArborCIL and the community to connect people living with #SCI to local adaptive sports resources.
Thanks to a grant from the @NeilsenFndn, faculty member Dr. Feranmi @Okanlami will launch the Rx to Play program to connect people living with SCI to local adaptive sports resources in MI provide continued support in their rehabilitation. bit.ly/3agLOgz

Oluwaferanmi Okanlami, MD, has been awarded a $200,000 Neilsen Foundation grant to launch Prescription to Play, a multi-year project that connects people living with spinal cord injuries in southeastern Michigan to local adaptive sports resources and provides ongoing rehabilitation support.
