This one is always on the wrong side of things. Both you and Rarara are fools
To start with, Rarara is not an illiterate, for someone that is much endowed in Islamic education isn’t an illiterate. Literacy is the ability to acquire, understand, and apply knowledge. Speaking English isn’t the be-all and end-all of literacy, like Hausa language, English is just a glorified medium of communication.
In this tug-of-political-war, Davido is only clever by half, his knee-jerk reaction to dismiss Rarara as an illiterate says more about him that it says about Rarara, someone with this ugly and archaic thought-process isn’t qualified to pick who qualifies as an illiterate or educated person.
The background with which Rarara had his certificate, historically, created foundations of what is today called “Western education”. It was preserved, developed, and transmitted through the Islamic civilization during Europe’s Dark Ages. From algebra and astronomy to medicine and libraries, Muslim scholars played a pivotal role in advancing human knowledge. So, Rarara is not an illiterate .
