What does it take to compete as a Big Ten athlete while pursuing graduate study in epidemiology?
For Josh Knudten, a first-year master’s student in Hospital Molecular Epidemiology and member of the @UMichwrestling team, the answer is discipline, support, and a deep commitment to both science and sport.
Josh completed his bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in three years while competing for the Wolverines.
Now, he is continuing his academic path at Michigan Public Health, with interests in gene therapy, drug development, and population health impact.
