If Uphold fails to obtain its own MICA license or secure an approved partnership by July 1, 2026, it will no longer be allowed to operate in the EU. In this case, it will have to activate a winding-down plan, which means that EU citizens will lose the right to trade and will have to withdraw their assets from the platform.

Part 1 of my interview with @HugoPhilion is now live on YouTube. In this episode we get into Flare v1.3, Hugoโ€™s early days in crypto, why he built Flare, Flareโ€™s partnerships with exchanges like Uphold, and what retail holders will soon be able to do with their XRP on exchanges. ๐Ÿดโ€โ˜ ๏ธ#ZBCN PIRATES 1/ Zebec is appearing everywhere because real-time payroll is becoming infrastructure. Look at who runs payroll today: ADP. They process 1 in 6 U.S. private-sector paychecks 26M workers. Thread๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ 2/ Massive clients include: โ€ข Amazon (1.6M employees globally) โ€ข Dell Technologies (110K across 47 countries) โ€ข Pfizer (consolidated global payroll) โ€ข PepsiCo, Wendyโ€™s franchises, Great Clips, Blue Cross Blue Shield partners & more. Traditional batch payroll powers the giants. 3/ But work happens in real time. Why wait 2 weeks when value is created every second? Zebec streams pay instantly (USDC/stablecoins), compliant with taxes, integrated with HCM platforms. Less stress for workers. Better retention & lower costs for employers. 4/ This isnโ€™t replacement itโ€™s the upgrade layer. ADP handles compliance & scale. Zebec adds continuous, programmable money on top. From Amazon warehouses to Pfizer labs to Dell offices getting paid by the second could soon be standard. 5/ The shift is happening: faster liquidity, borderless payments, programmable finance. Zebec turning โ€œeverywhereโ€ is the signal. Real-time payroll is the new rails. Bullish for workers, businesses & the entire economy. What do you think ready for instant pay? ZBCN

Kamilah explains why XRP is positioned to succeed even if the Clarity Act dies in Congress "XRP does not need the Clarity Act. This is the part that matters most for you who are watching." "When these lawyers say the Clarity Act probably will not pass, that hurts the broader crypto industry. It does not change anything about XRP." "The asset that you hold is positioned differently than every other asset in this space because of what they fought and won."
Kamilah clarifies that the Clarity Act deadline Brad Garlinhouse set is about the broader crypto industry, not XRP specifically. "XRP has fought its own painful fight for clarity, and it won that fight already." "Don't let the noise shake out your conviction about what you're holding, you know, the regulatory clarity for XRP specifically is locked in."

This is why OpenAI was created
Elon Musk turned down all shares when he left OpenAI because he believed nonprofits are not meant for self-enrichment. "The reason I founded OpenAI was because I was concerned, based on my conversations with Larry Page, that he was not sufficiently concerned about the dangers of AI. At my birthday party, he, in front of a large group of people, called me a speciesist, for favoring humanity over computers. So after that, I was like, We got to have some counterbalance to Google, because Larry doesn't seem to care if humans make it or not. So I thought, what's the opposite of Google? It would be an open source nonprofit, and that's where the word open, in OpenAI comes from. It means open source. I provided all the money, recruited the key people, and taught them everything I know. I actually even got them to deal with Microsoft. And for all that, I did not seek any financial reward whatsoever. The reason I actually took down the offer for shares is because, I mean, I felt like what are the shares, and why like nonprofits supposed to have shares? Nonprofits are not supposed to be self enrichment, so that's why I turned on the offer of shares." โ€” Elon Musk
