Trump's signed "agreement" with Iran may well end up like the Epstein Files. It'll never be fully seen. Nor will there be any determinations from the "investigation" of bombing that killed 168 Iranian school children on Day 1 of the war. Because, of course, it's still ongoing.
Fareed Zakaria just had a great extended take on California's manifest inability to govern itself. People are leaving, homelessness is rampant, public school education increasingly is failing its mission, movies are being made elsewhere, housing is beyond the reach of many, etc.
And finally, Brunson was co-existing peacefully with Luka & wanted to remain a Mav. But Mavs' front office bungled his signing & let him go. And now he has his 1st championship & is also Finals MVP while, frankly, Luka, may never experience this high given his current situation.
Here's why these plus/minus stats are such a farce. Fox ended up being a 1 and Harper a -12 in this final game of the Finals. Harper shot 10 of 19 and had 25 pts. Fox shot 3 of 15 and had 7 points. So let's just retire that dumbass stat because it's completely meaningless.
Knicks with an incredible run led by an incredible clutch player in Brunson. They fully deserve this title. Now if only their fans back in NYC can resist going on a looting and property destruction spree.
MVP Brunson has had one of the all-time great NBA closeout games. And Fox has had one of the worst. Must be contagious because Harper just missed a layup that would have tied it. Congrats to the Knicks. They overcame everything the Spurs threw at them. Rallied in every game. Wow.
Brunson is the real deal. And Mitch Johnson has been a beyond terrible coach in these Finals. Continuing to put the ball in Fox's hands is a death wish beyond belief. And Wemby hasn't asserted himself at all so far in the crunch. Spurs absolutely deserve to lose.
Mitch Johnson clearly has a death wish. Go ahead and lose it by putting the ball in Fox's hands in the crunch. Beyond terrible coaching in a close-out game.
A clear push off by Towns. But at this point, I'm fed up with all the calls/non-calls. Should be a successful challenge by Spurs, but I really don't give a damn at this point.
Brunson is just amazing. What a great clutch player -- and former Dallas Maverick. If Knicks do indeed pull this out (very likely) I'll be happy for him. Alas, then New Yorkers can celebrate by trashing their city.
Frankly, I hate the flagrant foul calls tonight against both sides. NBA has become a sissy league. Knicks fans want a gift-wrapped title by knocking Wembanyama out of this game and Game 6. NBA players from the '60s, '70s, '80s are laughing themselves sick. But whatever.
Is Mitch Johnson intent on going down with the ship with Fox? You can't let a veteran intimidate you. If he doesn't show something in early minutes of 3rd quarter, bench him and keep him there.
