Many elem ts have almost 0 planning and prep time during paid hrs. Secondary ts have all kinds of duties for clubs and sports, in addition to prepping and grading and meetings. Hours!!!

No, that not what he meant - he is the reason why public education is what it is today. People thinking that b/c they went to high school & were students, they know exactly what teachers do & it seems like an easy gig. Yet, ask Tim to give 3 90 min presentations everyday 1/2

Wow! This just proves that many people are CLUELESS! No wonder there is so little respect for teachers. Others have NO IDEA of the EXTRA HOURS "volunteered" by teachers!
