The manifesto argues Scotland is being asked to accept cuts as inevitable. It says public sector reform plans point to around 15,000 job cuts over 5 years, even as demand for services keeps rising. You cannot cut your way to stronger public services.

UNISON is calling for action. use the Scottish Parliament’s tax powers, replace council tax with a fair property tax, fund additional support needs, invest in NHS workforce planning, fully fund social care, and build social housing. However you vote, vote for public services.
