A youth coach should not be judged by:
- Trophies
- weekend records
- youth rankings
They should be judged years later by:
- how many kids stayed in basketball
- how many improved
- how many still love the game

At the elementary level:
Joy comes first.
Fundamentals come second.
Winning comes third.
Ironically, programs that prioritize the first two usually win more later anyway.
