Our work MUST be joyful! Shout out to Kim Randall and the Hilton crew at Local 7 for leading the way and starting a new tradition for the crew: Line dancing to end the picket line. 💃

Last month @hyattregency Cambridge workers launched a boycott of the hotel, asking folks not to eat, meet, or sleep at the property until Hyatt's owner KSL agrees to a fair process to decide on unionization. TQ Councilor Marc McGovern for supporting the workers!

The World Cup games are kicking off and UNITE HERE hospitality workers across the US and Canada are welcoming visitors and standing in solidarity. The World Cup doesn’t happen without us.
"I want us to feel secure at this job," says Teresa Joseph, an Embassy Suites employee. "There should be no question about it." A strike could begin at the Seattle hotel at any time. kuow.org/stories/seattle-lab…
On Monday, LSG Sky Chefs drivers in Minneapolis spoke out about single operator catering (SOC) with the full backing of political and union leaders, including MN Attorney General Keith Ellison, Rep. Kaela Berg, and UNITE HERE Secretary-Treasurer Nia Winston.
They called for an immediate end to single operator catering, an operating protocol workers say puts their safety at risk and creates danger on the tarmac. It has already resulted in one serious accident at MSP Airport.
Canvassers like Ryan are knocking doors across Orange County to talk with neighbors about "The Cost of Magic". Disney is suing for property tax refunds & the public schools have set aside $119 million in response & his convos are helping residents stand up for their communities!
Join us at city hall Thursday June 18th at 9:30AM at City Hall as we tell the city to say NO the Omni project until the developers make clear how the project will cost the people of New Orleans.
We deserve to not be left in the dark.
Just days before the opening matches of the 2026 #FIFAWorldCup, approximately food and beverage workers at #SoFiStadium have ratified a historic new contract with Legends Hospitality by an overwhelming 99% vote. The contract will go into effect immediately. #UNITEHERE
Congrats to UNITE HERE Local 54 Members at Hard Rock Casino who voted overwhelmingly to ratify their one-year contract extension, with 99.3% casting ballots in favor.
The agreement fully funds all benefits, provides for wage increases for all bargaining unit members, reduces housekeeping workloads, adds birthday pay, Well days, additional gratuities, enhanced subcontracting protections and more.
This brings Hard Rock up to the Atlantic City standard and secures stability for workers and their families.
They will continue fighting until all contract extensions are secured, ensuring that every member receives the protections and gains they deserve at every casino.
When ICE came to Minneapolis, we didn’t back down. When the government tried to make us scared, we stood together.
Watch to hear from UNITE HERE members who supported each other during the occupation. @UNITEHERE17
✈️ Earlier this month, YVR Airport concession workers and allies rallied for a $30/hour wage & stronger job security protections for frontline workers as they prepare to welcome the ⚽ 2026 FIFA World Cup.
📝 Last month, a petition signed by 1.5K airport workers was delivered to the Vancouver Airport Authority calling for a $1K World Cup bonus. At a time when YVR Airport is breaking records, those who showcase Vancouver to tourists want to earn enough to live in the city they love.
"We all deserve to work one job," said Hayden Eyerly, a front desk agent at Embassy Suites Seattle where workers voted 94% to authorize a strike. "We all deserve to come home and have the energy to be there for our families.”
