The ageism on social media is wild! Most recently, a young woman saying that men aged 40 or above shouldn’t go to live music events because it’s ’weird’. Really? Go fuck yourself. People, whatever their age, can enjoy whatever music they want to. And I’ll say nothing about the young folk prancing about in their Nirvana t-shirts who can’t name the bass player or name more than two songs off ‘Nevermind’.

They fought with Poles, Sikhs, Gurkhas, and West Indians beside them. They’d have more in common with the immigrants you hate than plastic patriots sharing memes about them. 3.“This isn’t the Britain I grew up in” - Correct. It has lower crime, longer life expectancy, and better healthcare than the 1970s you’re romanticising. You just don’t remember the power cuts and three-day weeks. 4.“Britain is broken” - The most unpatriotic sentence in the English language, repeated daily by people say they love their country. 5. “We’re full” - The Netherlands has twice the population density and somehow manages. The UK is not full. It’s just had 14 years of no housebuilding and you need someone darker than you to blame for it. 6.“We look after our own first” - You vote for parties that cut disability benefits, froze nurses’ pay, gave tax breaks to the rich and closed Sure Start centres. You don’t look after anyone. 7.“Stop the boats” - The Tories spent £700 million on Rwanda to deport four people. Zero boats were stopped. You cheered anyway. 8.“Starmer is a traitor” - The man prosecuted terrorists, paedophile rings, and war criminals as DPP. You import American culture war propaganda from people who openly despise our allies, trash your own country 24/7, and follow convicted fraudsters who lied about where they were born. The only ones treacherously trashing Britain’s reputation daily are you.

One of the most brutal realities of the male experience that nobody talks about is the absolute "affection desert" they live in. A woman can get a hug, a genuine compliment, and deep emotional support from her platonic friends on a random Tuesday. A man can go an entire calendar year without another human being touching his arm, asking if he's okay, or giving him a sincere compliment. We’ve built a society where a man only gets to experience basic human warmth if he is actively providing for a partner. Outside of that, he is completely invisible.

🚆 On the commuter train to London this morning… I hope you can all hear me in the video 😅 I’m currently heading up to London where I’ll be working all week. Before I left the house, I was watching the news and saw a piece about the astronauts currently orbiting the moon. Apparently, someone sent them a message saying: “Enjoy the ride. Don’t forget to look out the window.” Wow… what brilliant advice. Honestly, I think that’s just fantastic. And it really hit me. I’ve always tried to live my life as positively as possible. Negativity is such a draining emotion — it pulls everything down with it. I wake up every day with jazz hands (yes, really 😂) and try to grab every opportunity that comes my way. People often say “you only live once”… I disagree. You only die once — you live every single day. Yes, there’s a lot of doom and gloom out there… but there’s also so much good, so much opportunity, so much to be grateful for. So enjoy the ride… and don’t forget to look out the window. 🩵
