🚨 Chelsea are ready to back Xabi Alonso MORE than any other of his predecessors.
Chelsea insiders say Alonso and the five sporting directors are aligned with their vision when it comes to their plans this summer.
Chelsea want a partner for Levi Colwill. Multiple names have been discussed internally, though sources close to the club are keeping their cards close to their chest - a clear change from recent windows.
Chelsea also want to add a central midfielder between now and the end of the transfer window, with Adam Wharton is a long-term target but the Crystal Palace midfielder is set to cost around the £100million-mark.
Alex Scott's name was mentioned online towards the back end of last season but sources close to the club dismissed the links.
Chelsea are also hoping to add a left-sided attacker in the coming months. Morgan Rogers is more likely to join Arsenal as it stands, with Chelsea keeping other targets again secretive.

Before he was announced, he’s Enzo Fernandez replacement…
Now that he’s been announced as a Chelsea player, he’s Cucurella’s replacement.
Oya nah, utility player… na that work you go later use kill the innocent boy
🚨JUST IN: Chelsea are already looking for someone who can play in multiple positions rather than an out-and-out LB. Barco certainly fits the description of what they require.
Gusto is appreciated for his ability to play as a full-back on both flanks.

This is a good deal for Chelsea given Marc Cucurella was increasingly pushing to leave, the fee and he had just two years left on his contract at 27 years old. Without Europe, Jorrel Hato Valentin Barco is enough to cover his departure but you have to question whether Chelsea's overall quality level goes down without Cucurella. Chelsea starting line ups to get even younger also.
You were making a case of Hazard leaving as if he left when we the team was in a mess or something. We were competing on all fronts when the likes of Hazard, Courtois and the likes left unlike now that we only got 1 UCL in soon to be 5 years under Blueco. Make it make sense
Well done Chelsea fans, you’re free. Free of a defender with average risk management as he’s too aggressive, average defensive positioning & a net negative in possession. If this is the first transfer of “sporting director Xabi” taking the reigns, then it is a very positive step.
🚨🔵 Chelsea believe in Jorrel Hato as key part of the project, one of the reasons why Cucurella was sold.
Hato will be trusted for present and future while #CFC will still look to add one more versatile player.

Before you go through this channel, the current Ballon D’or holder is not a world class player. You can’t have 1 good season in your career and be tagged a world class player. Cucurella is an average player and he’s nowhere Top 3 in the world.
I would agree with this if it was shock exits, but Enzo has whipped up the idea of moving to Real Madrid for about 18 months now and Marc Cucurella has consistently said he wants to go back to Spain at some point. It's clear Fernandez was happy to tank Chelsea's season in March/April by doing those interviews and causing massive unrest. I think both are good players but someone also did raise the very valid point that both have played the majority of available minutes since joining in 2022/23 and since then Chelsea have finished 12th, 6th, 4th (on the final day) and 10th. People want to just sit and bash BlueCo/the SDs/whatever the 'project' is- that's fine. But none of the above has an impact on the individual players showing effort and since Christmas especially, both have downed tools.
Guess who played in those seasons we got 6th and 10th. Palmer and Caicedo. Joao Pedro played last season where we got 10th too. Reece James has been all all through that time too if now were randomly blaming players for whole seasons

When Cucu made his interview about Barca, he said it is not something he is thinking about now.
People who used that statement to defend him while vilifying Enzo are suddenly ignoring that part and saying “he has always hinted he wanted to go back to Spain” 😂😂😂
We need to stop villainising these players every-time they leave this shitshow of a mess blue co have created. Just diverts attention away from the actual people responsible for why anyone would want to leave in the first place.
