last 28 days from one of my non-english speaking country campaigns.
259 installs, so it's not just random luck anymore.
it made 100% net profit in 28 days.
sure, $120 net profit doesn't sound huge. but think about finding and validating a bunch of these.
asa will punch you in the face a lot, but once you find these little gems and let them run, they just keep making money without you touching anything.

Day 7: (trying to revive an app with Apple Search Ads)
after the changes, ttr of the ads has improved a bit, but not enough.
i saw some search queries that bring a lot of impressions but are not related to my app. i added them as negatives.
i increased existing keywords' max cpt to $1.5.
i added another campaign with a promising country that i mentioned earlier.
now we have 4 campaigns in 4 countries and are spending $10 per day, which is why we are moving slowly. however, this month I am trying to reduce ad costs, so we will wait a bit longer.

it may sound stupid, but I reduced my daily budget by 40% on my google ads campaign again.
it seems that if there isn't enough volume on what google ads algorithm works well, it actually makes things worse while trying to find new users.
I really wonder if it will turn profitable.

google ads update: I realized that i didn't share an update here for a while.
as you know, i reduced the daily budget significantly on the 30th of may.
After that, i have spent $114 and got $118 in june so far.
what i realized is that it doesn't matter how good your ctr and cr are, if you increase the budget, google tries to spend it and your roas drops a lot. at least, it is like this for me.
google ads is still a big mystery for me, but i desperately want to add it alongside apple search ads. not this month, but i will run some tests again in july.

i keep seeing android vs ios debates again.
this is my may breakdown across all apps. I probably only spent an extra 1β2 days on android apps, but 20% of the revenue comes from there.

Failed again with Google Ads.
I had tripled the daily budget this time, but it only scaled the losses faster. I've cut it back to one-third again.
I really need to figure this channel out, but it's been challenging. My CTR and conversion rates are quite good, yet ROAS is sitting around 0.5.
For now, I'll let it run on a small budget while I think through the next steps.

i can wait for more data, but to move fast, i will select 3 countries and publish the current keywords as skags. then, i will pause this campaign. there are 3 more promising countries, but they don't have enough data yet. i noted them for later.
by the way, i gave the data to fable 5 and it also suggested these same 3 3 countries. good to see we are on the same page π
i will keep you updated on the performance of the new campaigns.

Quick lesson: The same search term can trigger multiple keywords. Keep a close eye on it and stick with the one that performs best.

Where my income comes from, and what I'm doing to diversify it.
Apps: 80% of income (trying to generate more revenue from my other apps and doing ASA marketing)
Freelance: 20% of income (still doing it mainly to diversify my income)
Non-mobile: I created a macOS app that sells subscriptions via Lemon Squeezy, but I still need to find a way to publish it anonymously.
Stock Market: I started investing in $WULF a few months ago and have been investing regularly every month.
X: I don't know if this counts, but I'm trying to earn my first dollar from X. Still far, far away, though, given my follower count.

How I targeted the US on TikTok:
NordVPN worked for me. I used a separate tablet with no GPS and no SIM card. I installed NordVPN before TikTok, connected to a US server, then installed TikTok.
Most of the traffic I got afterward was from the US.
Not saying it'll work for everyone, but it worked for me.

i have 23 installs with avg cpa $2.5, it is still too new, but there are big jumps on ranks.
we need many more installs, to make some decisions.
