Shoutout to an indie app that I love... Usage for macOS is a great little app for anyone who is pushing the limits of their local hardware, especially local LLMs. It gives you super detailed, real-time stats in a slick form factor with cool charts. Memory - Active RAM - Memory pressure - Swap Compute - CPU processor load (user vs system) - GPU utilization - Active processes (compute RAM) Plus Temperature, Network Traffic and more. The dev, Oleh Stasula, is some random Eastern European dude (I assume, based on the name). He is not on Twitter, but he responds very quickly to emails. My financial relationship with the guy is that I pay for 2 subscriptions. I think he tried to refund me one of them, but I told him to keep it because I love the app so much. Highly recommend. 5/5 stars. If you are doing local AI, running lots of Agents or finad your computer slowing down randomly, this is the app for you. Download link in next tweet.
