🚨Quick update for our Perfect family🇳🇬
Petrol prices have surged (now ₦1,000–₦1,080 in many cities due to global crude spikes from Middle East tensions. Fuel is hitting drivers hard.

The recent fuel price hike in Nigeria (now ~₦1,091/litre at some stations) is driven by global crude oil benchmarks, naira exchange rates, and logistics costs in a deregulated market.
Brent crude surged from ~$72 to $85 /barrel after the US-Israel strikes on Iran (late Feb 2026) disrupted Strait of Hormuz shipping—~20% of world oil supply. Nigerian crude trades at a premium; Dangote Refinery's gantry price rose from ₦774 to ₦995/litre in days to match replacement costs.
This flows through to retail via importers/marketers. Local refining helps buffer long-term but still prices off global fundamentals amid the conflict.

I just tested PerfectRide within the GRA axis of PH for the first time. I checked the map accuracy and price difference.
