Simplify Gmail v3.2.4 is rolling out to all users.
This is the first release of v3.2.x to all users and it has a lot of goodies. But mostly, it is a massive re-write of bundles that should improve performance and handling of focus. More at changelog.simpl.fyi

I'm still here, plugging away.
A big update to Simplify Gmail that has been in development since December is finally rolling out to the canary channel. It includes a lot of small things and a big rebuild of bundles to improve performance.

As of yesterday, Simplify Gmail v3 is fully launched on all browsers (Firefox was last).
Bug reports are slowing down but still trickling in. Edge still takes for ever to approve updates so you might consider using the version in the Chrome Web Store. simpl.fyi/gmail

Every once in a while there's software that reminds me of why I'm in this field: the care, the attention, the dedication, the delight. @leggett's @useSimplify is one of those. Have been gladly paying for it many years now, latest updates are just fantastic. Highly recommend.

I already loved @useSimplify for making the Gmail UI clean, blocking trackers, etc. But this update is even more amazing with bundles (remember Inbox?), saved searches, and even more options to customize the UI exactly how you like! Highly recommend

On track to launch Simplify Gmail v3 to all browsers and all users by end of the year. It is embarrassing how long v3 has been in beta / development but I hope it was all worth the wait.
It is turning out to be a much bigger update than Simplify v2! Here is all that remains:

Simplify Gmail v3.0.53 is live (beta.simpl.fyi). It is a BIG update. Along with a bunch of small improvements and fixes is a total overhaul of Simplify Options bringing several new features. Full change log here: docs.google.com/document/d/1…

Gmail is rolling out a code change (no visible updates) that breaks Simplify Gmail.
Simplify Gmail v2.5.41 and v3.0.50 are rolling out right now to fix the issue. Thanks to those who reported the problem.

Gmail made a change last night that broke Simplify's app menu bar (what shows up when you hover over the profile photo). I've fixed it and submitted updates for all browsers.
Firefox and the v3 beta on Chrome are already live. Still waiting on Safari, Chrome v2, and Edge.

Update: As of this morning, the fix is live for all browsers except Edge which will probably take another 5-29 days. 🙄

Candidate for most annoying Gmail/browser/Simplify issue of 2023:
Gmail started using a non-breaking space instead of a space in some places in thread dates. Safari won't create a date with those spaces which broke date grouping. 😖😖😖 Fix uploading now...
