Last week, we acquired Gauges and it's been a huge win for everyone. Over the next few weeks, we'll be migrating all of their historical data and routing all Gauges tracking to Fathom.

We're super excited to announce that Fathom V4 is live. We quietly launched it a month ago but didn't want to publish this post until the initial bugs were fixed. We're now in a great place and V4 is officially done. Oh, and more will be coming this month!

The new phase of current visitors in Fathom has been benchmarked to 2.2 million visitors on a single website. Very fun experience. Oh, and we're shipping another new feature soon, watch this space ❤️

We have a new dev interface for testing realtime visitors. 0.634ms for the count and 650ms for 501,000 active website visitors on my cheap MacBook Air. This is epic. A huge step forward. Scalable and low $$ to operate. Quite sophisticated compared to what we did before (upserts).

We’ve just launched an improved data export. Previously, stats were downloaded as multiple separate files. Now, you can design a single export exactly how you want.

I am writing the craziest blog post of my life. Working with large amounts of data is a whole different ball game and I'm constantly learning new techniques. These approaches to handling larges amounts of data aren't written about very much... so I'm going to write all about it.

Had some feedback from a few people and need some honest input. I've not seen any good renaming opportunities yet and I'm feeling pessimistic about it. Should we stick with Fathom (Fathom Analytics) or rename?

Made my first Claude Skill to help me assemble the weekly @laravelnews newsletter. It grabs all the articles published this week from a private MCP server, orders by popularity using stats from @usefathom, and then builds all the markdown for @maizzlejs.
I feel late to the party but I'm officially a fanboy now because I wrote none of the code. Just let it do it's thing and all just works™ 🙌

You can now download your dashboard stats in a single click. A zip file, containing CSV files, of everything you see on the dashboard. Also, keep an eye out, we're launching Data Exports V2 very soon. It's super powerful and early feedback has been great.
