one of my clients manages short-term rental properties. during one of our first calls, he told me he had all his booking data in Excel spreadsheets… but no centralized system to actually understand it. revenue, occupancy, trends, property performance, all scattered across files. so I’m building a data analytics dashboard for him.

I'm seeing more and more companies looking for vibe coders. A few years ago it felt like an internet joke. Now companies are actually interested in people who can move fast, use AI effectively, prototype ideas, and get things done. It definitely feels like something is changing.

I’m so offline from X lately that I completely missed an OpenAI announcement for 3 days

Starting a new project with Hermes OpenClaw is insanely powerful, but honestly it still doesn’t feel fully reliable for daily workflows. fragile setups broken updates random issue Curious if anyone here seriously tried Hermes yet. How’s the experience so far?

Google is still the sleeping giant of AI It’s already everywhere: • Gemini in Search → answers, summaries, context above results • Gemini in Workspace → Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides • Maps → conversational search, smart suggestions, immersive views • Photos → real semantic search (“me surfing with a red shirt”) • YouTube → in-video Q&A, summaries, discovery • Android → contextual help, smart replies, generative features • Chrome → writing help, tab organization, page summaries Google doesn’t need to catch up, It just needs to go all in

parkinson’s Law states that work expands to fill the time available. studies confirm this: giving more time leads your brain to inflate tasks unnecessarily, creating the illusion of busyness. one fix that helped me: set short, strict time blocks for tasks. your brain thinks “I have limited time,” so it focuses and gets it done faster.
A pattern I've noticed in stuck people: They're always busy. They never stop moving. They have 47 tabs open and a notebook-sized to-do list. But if you ask them what they accomplished this week that actually matters, their mind goes blank. Busyness isn't a badge of honor.

funny how we use these models so much that we can instantly feel when they’ve been nerfed

That’s an interesting insight. If for whatever reason I can’t use sn app, my agent should be able to do it for me. That changes how you think about building. The best feature you can add to your app today? Make it agent-friendly. Agents are no longer a niche thing. Soon everyone will have one (or more) handling tasks for them. And if your app can’t be used by agents… that’s a big no.
Agent friendly can be something as simple as: Everything (you can do or see inside your SaaS by manually logging in to the dashboard)…. should be possible to do via APIs or tool calls… If you have a CLI for your SaaS, that’s even better… If you have a skill file that explains how to use that CLI, that’s even more better… If you have a setup script that I can run on my CLI; and it installs this skill on all the agent tools like Claude code, cursor, codex etc, then that’s even better. If you also have an openclaw plugin that directly knows how to use your cli, that’s even more better… API -> CLI -> Skill -> installable Skill -> @openclaw plugin.
