Join Forest Service staff and partners in celebrating National Trails Day with a guided hike at Pawnee Buttes starting at 9 a.m. on June 6. Staff will share information about local plants and animals throughout the hike. Bring walking shoes, water, sun protection and a lunch.

Parking at Herman Gulch Trailhead near Interstate 70 will be limited starting June 1 while contractors install a new vault toilet. Visitors should park only in available spaces and avoid staging and work areas while this site improvement work takes place.

Cattle drives bound for high elevation grazing allotments on the Canyon Lakes Ranger District are occurring along several routes including Larimer County Roads 74E and 80C and Highway 14 . Make sure to slow down and move over to give plenty of space when passing.

The opening of Sunset Point Boat Ramp on Lake Granby has been delayed due to low water levels. Stillwater Boat Ramp on Lake Granby remains open, and Green Ridge Boat Ramp on Shadow Mountain Reservoir will open as planned on May 8. Boaters: exercise caution and be aware of hazards
