ALT Dear USF community, This evening a structure fire was reported in the Marine Science Laboratory (MSL) building on the University of South Florida’s St. Petersburg campus. Emergency responders from St. Pete Fire Rescue, the USF Police Department and other agencies are on site. At this time, no injuries have been reported, and the building has been safely evacuated. Please continue to avoid the area and follow all emergency guidance. The building will be closed until further notice. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. We will share additional updates as more information becomes available.
