Today is #TalkSlowDay.
People w/ #aphasia, #apraxia, and #dysarthria aren’t “slow.”
We just need more time.
When you slow down, stay present, and stay patient, we can join the conversation fully.
Talking slowly isn’t talking down — it’s making space.

There are many invisible or hidden disabilities after #stroke. Allodynia is one.
When normal touch feels like pain, it’s not just sensitivity — it’s neurological.

Surgery can be an uncommon stroke risk. If something feels “off” afterward get help.

Not every tool for #aphasia#recovery needs to be high-tech.
